Elena is a senior and a co-editor-in-chief of the Southerner. As the captain of both the varsity cross country and public forum debate teams, she can most likely be found running while listening to the New York Times' the Daily podcast for the few hours that she is not at Grady. Elena is on the content team of the Foreign Policy Youth Collaborative, a nonprofit focused on relaying nonpartisan information pertaining to worldwide issues. Journalism is near and dear to Elena's heart, and she looks forward to her stories to come.
