A 2013 Atlanta Journal-Constitution investigation found that over half of the school districts in Georgia continue to use corporal punishment. For the safety and well-being of students, it’s time for Georgia to ban this practice in schools.

The language curriculum taught to high schoolers needs to change. It is too narrow, and focuses on latin-based languages to a large extent. High schools should introduce a more varied language choice, with a broader curriculum.
