Girls basketball beats Therrell 56-10 in first win of the season

Thanks to a strong performance, the Knights were able to capture their first win of the season against non-region opponent Therrell High School. The Knights commanded the game from the beginning, taking a 21-0 lead over the Therrell Panthers. The Knights held the Panthers to just 5 points by the end of the second quarter, resulting in a 31-5 score at the half. The Knights’ dominance continued into the second half, holding the Panthers to an additional 5 points and scoring 20 more themselves in the third quarter alone, resulting in a 51-10 lead at the start of the fourth quarter. The Knights were able to keep their momentum and beat Therrell 56-10. Now 1-2, the Knights look to capture another win in their next game against Mundy’s Mill on Dec. 1.
