Due to an injury, varsity player Theron Anches did not play in the Saturday preseason football scrimmage against Mays. Anches, who is uncertain how long we will be out, said he sustained a bone bruise and strained right calf muscle Anches said he was uncertain how long he would be out. Fellow lineman Jaelin Whitt will already be out for two weeks for a dislocated knee. “I just hope no one else gets hurt,”Theron Anches said.
The football team will play their third string lineman until Anches and Whitt recover from their injuries. This past weekend, the team suffered a lost against Mays in a preseason game, with a score of 42-15.
