Junior Lucia Olivera is a part of Midtown’s varsity volleyball team. She is a setter and has played varsity for the past two years.

“Volleyball is a huge part of my life,” Olivera said. “I really enjoy being a setter because I can help all of my teammates excel.”

Olivera also plays club volleyball for M2 Volleyball Club. She is on the 17-2 Elite Team, and this will be her second year playing for M2.

“M2 has a welcoming environment that feels like family,” Olivera said. “Going to club practice is always the highlight of my day.”
