School lunches allow some food insecure children to eat during the day. However, when school is out for the summer, federal and state-sponsored programs give these children access to meals.

Carter Klein is a sophomore at Midtown who participates in the Student Government Association, as well as the golf team. Klein hopes to improve the school as the new sophomore vice president, and also help the varsity golf team in the state competition.

 

“I just got elected sophomore vice president and I’m really excited to help the school,” Klein said. “I also play a lot of golf in my free time and I’m hoping to go to states this year and maybe even win.”
