Freshman Isaiah Miranda-Pimentel played on Midtown’s freshman boys basketball team during the 2021-2022 season. Next year he hopes to make the junior varsity or varsity boys basketball team. Miranda-Pimentel enjoys what basketball has given him.

“As a young man from Brooklyn, New York, basketball was my dream since the time I was born,” Miranda-Pimentel said. “Basketball took my mind off the stress of the streets of Brooklyn. Without basketball, I wouldn’t be the person that I am today.”
