Students work with MARTA to shed light on Ukraine tragedies

Students are partnering with MARTA to shed light on recent tragedies in Ukraine.

A Russian missile struck a Ukrainian train station on April 8, killing upwards of 50 people and injuring upwards of 98 people. To show their support for Ukrainian citizens and refugees, students will donate pairs of shoes for each Ukranian killed and hurt at the Kramatorsk train station. Students will gather at the Midtown MARTA station on 10th St on April 24 at 3 p.m.

Students should donate shoes in good condition in bins outside Mr. Wallace’s room C231, the media center and the multipurpose room. All shoes will be donated to Atlanta’s Soles4Souls following the event.
