The Knights boys team took on the 5A state cross country championships this past Saturday, Nov. 6th, placing eighth out of the 31-school field with a score of 268. The boys finished with an average time of 17:58 with a 2:03 1-5 split on the challenging course at Carrollton.

In terms of individual performances, seniors Everett Schroeder (17:08, 13th), William Palmer (17:30, 26th) and Marcus Johnson (17:53, 50th) ran strongly to contribute to the boys 8th place finish. This meet will conclude the boys’ official racing season for 2021.
