Knights girls cross country podiums at state, finishes third

The Knights girls team took on the 5A state cross country championships this past Saturday, Nov. 6th, placing on the podium with a team score of just 112 points, good enough for a third-place finish behind the usual 5A powerhouse teams of Blessed Trinity and St. Pius. The girls had an average time of 20:42 with a 1:55 1-5 split on the challenging course at Carrollton.

In terms of individual performances, junior Jamie Marlowe stood out with a 19:26 5k which was good for fourth place and the third-best junior time in the race, leading the team to their third-place finish. The team will conclude their season with the Meet of Champions on Nov. 13th.
