Emma Tureman is new to Midtown this year. She recently moved from Virginia where she played soccer for her school and her team went to the state championships. Tureman said she plans to play on Midtown’s soccer team too.

“I like being aggressive and running with the ball and defending,” Tureman said. “I’m a defender.”

Tureman is also planning on joining Midtown’s diving team with her friend.

“I’m excited,” Tureman said.
