North Atlanta undergoes “total leadership transition”

North Atlanta Interim Principal Mark Mygrant will be replaced by Dr. Howard Taylor, currently a principal in the Gwinnett County school system, as part of a ‘total leadership transition’ at North Atlanta, Superintendent Erroll Davis wrote in a letter to North Atlanta parents this afternoon. Davis said in the letter that Taylor will begin transitioning to his new role immediately and officially start the position on Oct. 29. APS also installed eight transition academy leaders and a transition assistant principal. “Dr. Taylor will put a new permanent leadership team of his choice in place as soon as possible,” Davis wrote.
