The American Heart Association and the Cobb County School District recently revealed that the Cobb County School District surpassed a national fundraising record for the organization this academic year.

They are the first district in the country to raise more than $700,000 for the cause. The Frisco Independent School District in Texas held the previous record with $500,000 raised.
