Junior Ava Bowie has been dancing for 13 years at the Decatur School of Ballet. She has been preforming four times a year with her company for four years.

“I enjoy dancing because I feel like it is a way to express myself in non-verbal communication,” Bowie said. “It feels good to turn on the music and be able to transform myself into something that does or doesn’t resonate with me.  I wouldn’t change being apart of something so special for the world, and I am so grateful that I found something I am passionate about.”
