Sophomore Talon Chesnut has been playing Midtown basketball for two years. She appreciates the sense of community she finds within the sport. This year’s senior night was a moment in her basketball career where she realized she has found some of her “forever friends” through basketball.

“I don’t have any sisters around my age, so anytime I play basketball it’s kind of a family,” Chesnut said. “I really like having that bond, playing with them and doing what we love.”
