Boys ultimate finishes season 5-1

The boys ultimate frisbee team competed in its last tournament on Saturday, May 15. In their first game against Druid Hills, the boys won 10-7. Their second game against Lambert was much more challenging. For most of the first half, Lambert’s intensity and depth of athleticism overpowered the Gauntlet. Near the end of the second half, however, the boys tied the game and almost scored the final point but turned the disc over at the front of Lambert’s end zone. Lambert capitalized on the turnover, winning 9-8.

Only being able to play in a limited number of games due to Covid-19, the Gauntlet capped off its season 5-1.
