Atlanta Public Schools announced a 2-hour delay in the start time for Tuesday’s school day.

“Due to inclement weather including the potential for ice on the roadways overnight and in the morning, APS will operate on a 2 hr. delay on Tuesday, Feb 16. APS staff should report to schools & office buildings 2 hrs later than their normal reporting time,” a Tweet from APS said. “Please be safe!”

APS students in grades 6 through 12 who opted to return to in-person learning are going back to the school building on Tuesday. For Grady students, first period will begin at 10:50 am instead of the originally scheduled, 8:50 am. Due to the delay, buses will also run 2 hours later.
