On Thursday, October 1, 2020, the State School Superintendent recommended the initiation of rule-making procedures to change the weight of the Georgia Milestones End-of-Course test from 20% to .01% for the 2020-2021 school year. The State Board of Education denied the State School Superintendent’s recommendation. Instead the State Board of Education initiated rule-making procedures to change the weight of the Georgia Milestones End-of-Course test to 10% for the 2020-2021 school year.
