Students walk out to protest climate change

On Sept. 27, 2019, about 200 students walked out to Piedmont Park to protest climate change.  “Rainforests burning. Glaciers melting. Sea levels rising. This is only the beginning. Spoken plainly, human actions have begun to damage our earth exponentially,” North Atlanta High School senior Danielle Millburn said. This speech is one of many that have been given to protestors around the world in an attempt to urge communities to act in ways that are beneficial to the environment.
