Football plays in spring scrimmage

On May 16, 2025, the Midtown Knights football team scrimmaged Rockdale County, resulting in a 20-7 loss. Junior Kentrell White scored Midtown’s only touchdown in the third quarter. White has received multiple offers from division one programs. Going into the 2025 season, Midtown will be led by new head coach Calvin Arnold. Arnold has worked for Midtown’s team as an assistant coach for the past 8 years.
