From teaching Geometry to AP Calculus BC, teacher Talyssa Hunter covers a wide range of mathematics topics in her classes. While some students may believe that certain math isn’t applicable outside of the classroom, Hunter believes that math provides life skills that are necessary for students in the future.

“Math is very important for students,” Hunter said. “It produces analytical thought, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills, which are essential for success in the real world.”
