Freshman Carmela Mara often enjoys sewing in her free time. She took on sewing at a younger age through her grandmother and during elementary school. 

“In elementary school, we had this sewing class in my aftercare, so I did it in aftercare,” Marra said. “I hope to actually make something that I can wear and feel confidant.”
