Tom Hanks really deserves and earns this Oscar because of his performance in “ A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” he really gives this movie life and does such a excellent job playing as Mr.Rogers its almost 1 to 1 as good as he plays this character so it would only be fitting hanks got this Academy award.

A honorable mention that would be hard to miss is “1917” this is also a amazingly shot film fit to look like one shot this movie alone is a cinematic feat that being said Sam mendes also earns himself a best directed award very easily

Some honorable mentions in this category surely go to parasites tension filling yet comedic dialogue  and Knives out witty humor that comes at lightning speeds.
