Tom Hanks really deserves and earns this Oscar because of his performance in “ A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” he really gives this movie life and does such a excellent job playing as Mr.Rogers its almost 1 to 1 as good as he plays this character so it would only be fitting hanks got this Academy award.

Bong Joon Ho immaculately directs parasite, practically every scene and shot is shown in a way that only gives the viewer nothing less than a visual feast along with Joon Hos character blocking this definitely earns itself for a best directed academy award. A honorable mention that would be hard to miss is “1917” this is also a amazingly shot film fit to look like one shot this movie alone is a cinematic feat that being said Sam mendes also earns himself a best directed award very easily

Some honorable mentions in this category surely go to parasites tension filling yet comedic dialogue  and Knives out witty humor that comes at lightning speeds.
