Meeting via zoom on Tuesday, October 13, the Henry W. Grady Renaming Comittee narrowed the list of potential new names for Grady High Schools to 5 choices. The finalists for a new name are Midtown High School, Piedmont High School, Freedom High School, Ida B. Wells High School and Thomas E. Adger High School. The seven-member committee is set to reconvene on Tuesday, October 20 to decide on one recommendation before a final proposal is submitted to the board. The committee will reopen a google form over the next week for additional community input on the finalists.
