BeltLine protestors march for light rail

More than 50 protestors aligned with the group BeltLine Rail Now marched down the Atlanta BeltLine on Oct. 6 carrying signs and chanting. The group wants the original vision of the BeltLine to be realized and advocates for an accelerated plan to install more light rail transit in order to allow more people to navigate the city without a car. The protestors say that other projects have been prioritized above the BeltLine, allowing gentrification and economic inequality to grow.
