The boys tennis team beat Wayne County 3-0 on April 25 to advance to the semi-finals of the State 5A tournament. The tournament run is the deepest in program history, and the team lead by 11-0 senior Josh Wolfe, seniors Maximus Freightman and Jack Stegleman. The team also has a vital doubles team comprised of freshmen Teddy Suazo and Scott Whitley. The boys won Region 6AAAAA for the third year in a row to receive one of the eight 1 seeds in the tournament. The next game is against Carrollton on April 29 at home.
