Grady students share what makes their ink unique through a Q&A and series of photos.

Q: What is your tattoo and what does your tattoo stand for?
A: It’s a hand holding a rose and it doesn’t stand for anything. I just got it because I thought it was cute.


Q: What is your tattoo? Why did you get a tattoo?
A: It’s a flower with a snake around it. I was just there with my friend while she was getting her tattoo. Me and my cousin were watching her get her tattoo so we just decided to get one too.

Q: What is your tattoo and what does your tattoo stand for?
A: My grandfather got this same tattoo when he was 13 years old when he was in Borneo from a tribe of head hunters. They gave it to him as a welcoming and to this day we don’t know the meaning behind the symbol. My two uncles and my brother also have the same tattoo.

Q: What is your tattoo? Why did you get a tattoo?
A: My tattoo is the death date of my dad and grandad in Roman numerals. I got it because I wanted some way to one keep me motivated, and to remember the good times we had.
