New Social Security anti-fraud measures start 4/14

Starting April 14, the Social Security Administration is implementing new anti-fraud policies that require in-person identity verification for applicants who are unable to confirm their identity online. These changes focus on reducing fraud, but may lead to longer wait times and struggles among vulnerable populations.
