Atlanta Mayor Dickens withdraws support for BeltLine rail on Eastside Trail

Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens has pulled back the support he showed for starting the first part of the Beltline rail on the Eastside Trail during his campaign. Dickens is now interested in linking the city’s streetcar to a future infill station at Murphy Crossing instead. His focus has shifted to prioritizing the streetcar that already exists.
