Georgia Promise Scholarship opens Mar. 1

The Georgia Promise scholarship opened on Saturday Mar. 1. With the new program, parents can apply for up to $6,500 for private school tuition, tutoring services and other educational expenses. The program is open to rising kindergartens and current students in Georgia schools. Applicants will be notified after the first application window closes on Apr. 15.
