Sophomore Tate Thompson started playing guitar in 2022 when she gained a deeper interest for the instrument. Since then, she has advanced her interest by creating a band called Grandma’s Couch.
“I like being able to play the music that I like to listen to, and I like being able to create things based on what I enjoy making and how it sounds,” Thompson said. “I also think it’s really fun because once you have other people that play instruments too, being able to bring an actual song together, it’s really fun.”
