Junior Noah Williams plays on the varsity football team, starting to play at the end of his freshman year. When Williams moved from New York to Georgia the summer before his freshman year, he thought football would be a different sport to try and has since found fulfillment while playing at Midtown.
“If anything I feel like [playing football] keeps me busy,” Williams said. “A good use of my time that helps me out whether it’s staying in shape or keeping me disciplined, just life lessons in general. I feel like it’s helpful.”
Williams said the friendships he’s built while playing also contribute to the joy the sport has brought him.
“I met a lot of cool people on the team,” Williams said. “It’s just fun being able to play the game that you enjoy with your friends. That’s a big part of it.”
Along with playing football, Williams also finds joy in the idea of capturing moments and scenery through photography.
“Whether it be of different places whenever I travel, I feel like [photography’s] something I enjoy,” Williams said. “Especially videoing, recording and stuff. I feel like that’s fun.”
