Sophomore Samaya Agarwal has been acting and involved in musical theater since she was five years old. She participates in Midtown’s theater as well as a program outside of school called Orbit Arts Academy where she is in the Troupe Company. Acting gives her emotional experiences that she doesn’t experience very often.
“When it comes to acting, I love that you can take on the emotions, actions, and mindset of an individual where you wouldn’t usually experience those emotions in real life,” Agarwal said. “Not only is it rejuvenating to be able to imitate a character, but it’s also so nice to be able to be in touch with how you control your emotions.”
