The football team took a commanding 28-7 victory in the fall scrimmage against Riverwood on August 8. The first half ended 7-7 after a 21-yard rushing touchdown from junior Traevan Jones. In the second half, touchdowns from Ethan Ward, Kentrell White and Cam Austin led the team to 21 straight points and the eventual victory over the Raiders. The Knights came out of the game with 264 total yards of offense and 2 fumble recoveries on defense.

“She's my best friend in the whole world, so obviously, I had to say yes,” Thornbury said.
In return, Varenberg created an intricate dress fitted specifically for Thornbury.
“I was trying to go architectural with a lot of these like leaves,” Varenberg said. “I also made a cool little thing where [the dress] folds over.
