Along with being captivated by marine biology and enjoying math for the challenge, freshman Jakia Griffin loves to fill her free time reading young adult fiction.
“[I started reading] when I was in elementary school, around 5th grade,” Griffin said. “I usually stay to myself in books which are kind of there for me.”
