Senior Matan Avissar has been a kicker and punter for the Midtown football team since his sophomore year. His favorite part of playing was the satisfaction that came with punting, but he also enjoyed the community that the team fostered.
“One time, we went out and we picked up garbage for community service, which was really heartwarming,” Avissar. “The football team brought together parents and created a tight-knit community, and I enjoyed bonding with fellow players. I’m going to miss the team when I leave Midtown.”
