Senior Katherine Curtis has been horseback riding for over ten years and found passion in the sport at a young age. She described how her favorite part of the last decade has been making connections with different horses at the barn.
“My favorite part has been the beautiful relationship you can form with your horse,” Curtis said. “You can really feel when a horse starts to trust you and [when] instead of thinking of you as an opponent, they think of you as an ally.
