New student junior Shayne Anthony-Walters just moved to Atlanta from New Jersey. Outside of school, he enjoys filling his time with several creative passions including drawing, acting and basketball.
“Seeing my favorite actors and shows got me interested,” Anthony-Walters said. “Basketball was something I’ve always played since I was young and drawing was just something I found interesting.”
Anthony-Walters plans on trying out for Midtown’s basketball team this year with hopes to one day play for the NBA as a professional athlete.
“[Dedication is] in my blood,” Anthony-Walters said. “I’ve always had a competitive aspect, like sports. I always try to be the best at everything that I do so that pushes me.”
