Knights fall to Dalton High School in championship match

Freshman Hudson Johnson muscles past Dalton midfielder. The Knights fell in the championship match on May 4th.
Midtown’s boys soccer team lost in the state championship game against Dalton High School. The Knights played strong with key saves from sophomore James Kropp and shots from sophomore Lathan Johnson. At the end of regulation, the game was still 0-0. However, Dalton netted two goals quick in extra time and the Knights couldn’t recover. The Knights had six players called up to be first-team all-region players. One of them, Lathan Johnson, was named region Player of the Year. The final record on the year was 17-5.
