On Friday afternoons, while most go home to start off their weekend, freshman Reed Lancaster works with Springdale Park Elementary School’s advanced chorus. Lancaster finds passion as well as an opportunity to earn community service hours in helping young kids improve their singing skills every week.

“I mainly enjoy this because of the kids,” Lancaster said. “They’re just like really sweet kids who spend their Friday afternoons trying to become more musical.”
