Junior Milner Ball believes the Midtown Knights football team will be more successful this year than last year. Ball plays center and defensive end for the Knights.

“Being on a JV team was certainly humiliating and crushing,” Ball said. “I think now we’re ready to rally back and we’ve got that weight on our shoulders and a new expectation set.”

Ball credits his positive outlook to many new changes.

“This year we’ve got obviously the new coach, but I think the new coach came with a new culture and a new kind of team bond,” Ball said. “Then of course we had tons of new players. The coaches did a great job of spreading information about the team, so we had tons of people come in with all new kinds of skill sets, and we’re ready to perform this year.”
