Susan Barber served at as the department chair of Language Arts at Northgate High School for ten years before coming to Midtown in 2018. She teaches AP Literature and Composition and runs a professional a professional blog called APLitHelp.com and her own personal site called Teach With Class.

“This year has been so different and I am just trying to be more flexible, give less homework, more time in class to do work and just not stretch out as much,” Barber said. “I am just so glad to be back in person. If I had to get up and be on Zoom again everyday like I did last year, I don’t know if I could do it.”
