Using official statements, previous reports and recorded interviews, the Southerner has broken down the candidates’ positions on specific issues.
Atlanta Public Schools School Board At-Large Seat 7
Stephen Spring, Kanesha Venning, Tamara Jones, and Royce Carter Mann are all on the ballot for the Atlanta Board of Education Post 7 seat. The seat represents School Board Districts 1 and 2 and City Council Districts 1-4. The seat is currently heald by Kandis Wood Jackson, a practicing attorney, who is not running for re-election.
