Junior Ethan Johnson is the president of 21st Century Leaders, a club at Grady that organizes community service projects. The club has allowed him to develop valuable leadership skills and give back to the community. Johnson is currently leading the Winter Food Drive, with all collected items being donated to the Intown Collaborative Ministries, an organization that fights hunger and homelessness in Atlanta.

“Right now, because of the pandemic, there’s so much people need,” Johnson said. “In the news a couple of weeks ago they showed pictures of a food bank, and the lines of cars stretched miles. That’s what led me to choosing to do this. But I also wanted to make sure it was safe, so that’s how we came up with the idea to make it 100 percent contactless.”
