Collin Townsend, sophomore
November 10, 2020
Collin Townsend is a dedicated basketball player. He has been playing the sport since he was a child. However, this year he has been struggling to find a place he can consistently go to play basketball safely. All of the previous place he would play, such as the park and gyms, have either become unsafe due to the people crowding it or closed down altogether.
“It’s become much more difficult to play basketball at the rec center because of COVID and I’ve been trying to find places where I can play basketball safely but there is no way to know if anyone has been tested or if the people you’re playing against are positive or not,” Said Townsend “I haven’t found a place where I can go and have a place to go to play basketball without being at risk.
