Atlanta Public Schools has released the following statement concerning the recent death of a Grady student:
“Dear Grady Family,
Last night we were informed that ninth grade student Alexia Hyneman was struck by a vehicle while riding her bike and was seriously injured. She passed away this afternoon. APS’s crisis team will be available to students and staff on Wednesday. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.”
