Students center equity and voice at APS candidate town hall

Atlanta Public Schools students led a school board candidate town hall on Oct. 9, highlighting youth concerns around equity, safety and curriculum. Organized by the Georgia Youth Justice Coalition, the event gave students the mic while candidates responded to questions created and asked by youth. The forum emphasized student leadership in shaping the future of APS.
