CDC updates COVID-19 vaccine guidance

The CDC has ended its universal recommendation for COVID-19 vaccinations, allowing individuals to decide with their doctors whether to get the shot. The change follows input from a new vaccine advisory panel appointed by Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The updated approach focuses on personal choice and doctor-patient discussions, especially for older adults and those at higher risk.
