Hispanic Heritage Month begins 9/15

Hispanic Heritage Month begins Sept. 15 and runs through Oct. 15. The month honors the history, culture and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans. The start date marks the independence anniversaries of several Latin American countries, including Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua.
